Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-11-02. Short version: we keep as little as we can.

Without an account

Your settings, test history and progress are stored in your own browser (local storage). To count visits we keep a random id for your browser together with page events such as “finished a test” and its language, mode and speed. We do not store your name, your IP address or the text you type.

With an account

We store your chosen name, a scrypt hash of your password (never the password itself), your saved results and progress, and your class memberships. Teachers of a class you join can see your name, results and progress in that class.

Payments

Payments are handled by SSLCommerz, Razorpay, Paddle or Stripe. We receive the plan, amount and a payment reference; we never see your card, bank or mobile wallet details.

AI coach

When you ask for a coaching plan, the numbers from that test (speed, accuracy, slow letter pairs and keys, language) are sent to Anthropic’s API to write the plan. Your name and the text you typed are not sent.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how they found the site (for example a search or a link) and their country, device and browser, and to count finished tests, sign-ups and checkouts with their language, mode and speed. Google Analytics uses cookies and sends this to Google. It does not receive your name, your account or the text you type, and it does not store IP addresses. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it sets no cookies and sends Google only basic signals without an id for you or your browser. Advertising

Free pages may show ads from Google AdSense under results and on guide pages. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites; you can manage this at Google Ads Settings. Reminders

If you turn on browser reminders, we store your browser’s push address and your chosen hour, and delete it if the browser reports it is no longer valid.

Your choices

You can delete your account and everything stored with it from the Account page at any time. Clear your browser’s site data to remove what is stored locally. For anything else, write to hello@camelkeys.com.
