60-second typing test

A 60-second test is the standard length: long enough to show your real speed and rhythm.

Start the 60-second test

Start typing and the clock starts. When the time is up you get your speed, accuracy, raw speed, and how steady you were second by second.

Longer tests give steadier numbers. If your 15-second speed is much higher than your 60-second speed, practise holding a steady rhythm rather than sprinting.
